Pork Chops With Cherry Relish 4 pork loin chops (1/2 inch thick) ¼ cup soy sauce 1 tsp. Oil ½ chopped onion 1 tbsp. Ginger 1 tsp. minced garlic 1 cup chopped pitted cherries Season pork with pepper. Place in a baking dish and pour soy sauce over. Turn the chops to coat thoroughly. Cover and chill 1 hour, turning them a few times. Heat oil over medium heat. Add onion, ginger and garlic; sauté until onion is tender, about 5 minutes. Add cherries and sauté until the cherries soften, 7-8 minutes. Remove from heat. Prepare barbecue (medium heat) or preheat broiler. Remove pork from marinade and grill until cooked through, about 5 minutes per side. Spoon relish over chops. Comment: |
